No 41 Neethling Street is situated in a quiet area on a very large stand. It is a beautifully renovated sandstone cottage equipped with modern amenities. The house has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms – one with shower and one with bath. The two large bedrooms each have a double bed while the smaller room has a single bed. The house has a large open area dining room/kitchen/lounge. Lounge walks out onto undercover verandah. On the verandah is a pizza oven and portable Weber braai.

COSTS

  • WEEKENDS: R950 per night
  • LONG WEEKENDS AND PEAK SEASON: R1 100 per night
  • WEEKDAYS (EXCLUDING LONG WEEKENDS and SCHOOL HOLIDAYS) R750 per night
  • LONG STAYS: longer than 7 days: R750 per night excluding long weekends (negotiable)
  • ONE NIGHT ONLY: R1 300
  • A  deposit of 20% is payable in order to secure the booking. The booking will only be locked off once proof of payment of deposit has been received via email.
  • Cancellations up to 2 weeks in advance will be refunded
  • Outstanding amount on accommodation is payable in full on day of arrival on receipt of the keys

ADDITIONAL INFO

  • Arrival time is after 11am and departure before 2pm, unless stated otherwise
  • The stove is gas and electric
  • The hot water in the shower is regulated by a gaswater heater. Please do not adjust the controls on the panel
  • We advise that tap water be boiled before drinking as we cannot guarantee the municipal water is fit for drinking at all times
  • Please be extra sure not to leave the taps open
  • The house is managed by Wessel who also lives in Rosendal and can be contacted on 082 850 3426 should it be necessary
  • Extra blankets are available in the main bedroom
  • The house is dog-friendly
  • Smokers please smoke on the verandah
  • There is limited meat or fresh produce to buy in Rosendal, so bring your own – Basics such as bread and newspapers and milk can be bought
  • There is a liquor store in Rosendal. The selection of products are limited
  • There is a coffee shop, Chris se winkel
  • Benjamins serves breakfast, lunches and dinner (on select evenings)
  • Yolla’s serves pub lunches and dinners
